Pottery Carving Class

In this pottery class you will be carving wheel thrown mugs with Nancy Leier. Nancy is a retired art educator of 30 plus years who still loves to teach and bring art experiences to all kinds of folks. Ceramics has not always been her main artistic endeavor. She graduated from UND back in the stone ages with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting and a K-12 Art Education certification. Years later after teaching in Williston ND she came to Fargo Moorhead to obtain my master’s degree in Painting and Sculpture at Moorhead State University. Her interest in clay and sculpture grew while in grad school. Now that she is retired, she enjoys working daily in her garage studio.
