About the Event

We are partnering with BeyondtheFlex to bring yoga to Oakes! There are three different class styles so you are sure to find one that fits your ability!

The first style of yoga we are going to offer is simply beginner yoga for people to learn and practice. This will be held on Monday nights from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm. The second style of yoga is chair yoga which is a type of assisted balance yoga that will be held on Tuesdays from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm. The third style of yoga is hatha vinyasa which is traditional yoga with flow and it will be held on Wednesdays from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm.

A BREAKDOWN OF THE STYLES

Beginner Yoga

You have no idea what the hype is about. Maybe you're on the shy side or think that flexibility is a requirement. It's not! Come relax, breathe, learn poses and their names, and find your unique flow.

Chair

Receive the benefits of practicing, using breathing techniques and gentle movements to find your balance, both literally and figuratively, while seated.

Hatha Vinyasa

Gain strength, endurance, and flexibility while gently transitioning through poses, linking breath with movement. Emphasis is placed on experiencing your unique mind, breath, and body connection.

WHAT TO BRING

It is recommended that you wear comfortable clothing. Bring a yoga mat or beach towel if you have one, if you don't have either no worries we have you covered! Lastly, bring a water bottle, it is important to stay hydrated.
